I loved getting to be a part of Barbie and Walter's story. This couple traveled for a destination wedding in Lake Tahoe (jealous!) but wanted a small, intimate, local ceremony beforehand with family at Barbie's home church. And what a church it was! St. Francis of Assisi in Oklahoma City was absolutely stunning and the ceremony was unlike any I'd witnessed. I also loved this day because the focus was completely on what truly matters. No fuss, no frills - Barbie incorporated meaningful family heirlooms into her bouquet and carried an old marriage sacrament book that had been passed down through generations. Walter's daughters stood by their dad's side as their family grew by one more. Beautiful church, beautiful couple - cheers to their new family and beginning forever together!
