Lily | Bridals

Have you ever seen such JOY in a smile before? Goodness. Lily is just the kindest soul, a forever optimist, sensitive, tenderhearted, and also hilarious. When she walked out of the Colcord Hotel wearing this incredible 20s-inspired art deco gown - HOOOLY moly. She looked incredible! Lily isn't from the south, and through her and another bride of mine from the east coast, I've learned that people don't really do bridal portraits outside of the southern part of the country. Some of Lily's friends were a little confused when she told them she was having portraits made of just herself in her dress. And I get it! To others, it might seem silly. But to me, once again, bridal portraits are a must because every bride deserves to feel as beautiful as Lily felt. Every bride deserves to feel the giddiness and elation that comes when they have their wedding dress on, hair and makeup done, flowers to hold, feeling the most beautiful they've ever felt. It's a bonus that it's a great opportunity to test hair and makeup and make sure the dress fits well before the big day, but for me, it's about the timelessness of the photos. The way they capture her joy and focus on just her alone, before her handsome groom joins her on the wedding day. Without further ado, here's Lily doing her thing in downtown OKC!
