Clara | Newborn

I’d been really looking forward to Clara’s newborn session for a couple of reasons – one, her parents were a bride and groom of mine from a few years ago and it’s always fun to catch up. Two – Clara and I share a birthday! April 3rd is a pretty good day to be born if I do say so myself. I’ve always loved having a spring birthday! Morgan and Corey are one of very few couples I know who waited to find out the gender of their little one until delivery. They lovingly prepared the nursery with a neutral color scheme and filled it with meaningful antiques, plus a Christmas cactus plant that ended up blooming really late for the season – on the day they brought Clara home! What a fun surprise and I know they couldn’t be more ecstatic to welcome this sweet baby girl to their family.
